My cat Princess... All cats love to rest in sinks, and this is just a really big sink, isn't it? Even humans use it to lie in there!
"No, you cannot fill this thing with water. It's MINE."
Haha, on hot summer days she never leaves the tub... Poor girl, with all that fur it must be hot like hell.
I shave my cat's belly during the summer. Otherwise, she stands over the cold air vent and breathes heavily...
I don't want to make you afraid, but if she does that often, you should get her checked. I had a cat who sometimes breathed heavily and died three years old. He had HCM, which is not uncommon in Maine Coons, but I did not know it. After that I have become rather jumpy concerning my other kitties, whenever they do something unusual. The vet makes a fortune from this...
She gets overheated because of her fur. Since we got a *MUCH* better heat/AC unit (95% efficient), she doesn't do it anymore. Though nearby is still her favorite place to hang out in the summer.
Thank you ... She is really pretty, but sometimes her face makes me think she is plotting to murder me in my sleep. Actually I think she is looking that creepy when she is most relaxed...
I love her!
your kitty looks a like a sister of mine... A little sister I think, since Miss Princess has a tendency to, erhm, overweight, and she really is the largest female cat I have ever seen (now 16 pounds). Also, she is a really good girl ... She sleeps in my bed, but comes close to cuddle only after I wake up in the morning. Not that this helps a lot, because her brother does not care wether I am awake or in deep coma when he wants attention. Boys have no mercy.
Right. Especially fluffy in the middle section... ohhhh, she is sooooooo SOFT. Even her fur is softer than the boys' ones. But don't get me wrong, besides the roundness she is also very long, I mean, tall. And she is supposed to be like that, she is a Maine coon. Her first human mom, a cat breeder out of passion, almost explodes from being so proud of her. She would have kept the little cat girl for breeding, if there had not been two littermates with hernias. So she moved in with me. All my cats are neutered, so no hormone terror, but that means no babies and well, they get a tendency to become "fluffy"
Her fluffy fur is just gorgeous!
Lovely cat- a long fur calico is a favorite of mine....bet she is a sweetie too
She is the sweetest little kitty ever ... Until I want to brush her. But we manage.
Mine don't mind the brush- but hate their flea medicine. Like trying to hold a greased pig!
... Not to mention the eight-armed kraken they turn into when you want to put them in the box and take them to the vet
That's funny...and true...and now I'm really worried (LOL) since all three of the kittens go to the vet next week to be spayed...I might need a lot of band-aids by then...
Today I was a the vet's and I used the following mean trick: I opened the box in front of my dear kitty and put my head into it. Of course, he believed that there was something interesting inside and went looking. But that will not work a second time, I fear...
She's gorgeous. Nice photo.
wow !!!so cute
Haha, I know... You should see her make the I-want-to-have-that-eyes. Melts you to a puddle of stupid. Cats can do that to you...
